Description

Sunrise Montessori School, Inc., located in Franklin, MA, seeks a classroom aide to join our teaching team for the 2023-2024 school year. Responsibilities include assisting classroom teachers with students during transition times, assisting children in bathroom, including with diapering/pull ups; assisting with coats, shoes, etc. while encouraging independence in those skills; recess, lunch, rest time, and cleaning of lunch tables. Additional duties include reading books, playing games/fingerplays/music, etc., with the students in both large and small groups. Some photocopying, use of the laminator, and restocking classroom supplies should be expected.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a high school diploma, have some experience working with young children, and submit a background check.

Benefits

Classroom Aide position is Monday through Friday from 10:45am to 5:30pm, (33.75 hours per week), with a half hour paid lunch break. Compensation is $15.00 per hour. Benefits include five paid sick days, two personal days, federal holidays during the academic year, compensation for up to 20 hours of PDP workshops/seminars, potential bonuses, and more.
