Description

Hollis Montessori School is seeking an energetic, multi-disciplinary, dedicated part time teacher for our Middle School program beginning immediately. This position currently is part time (8 hours/day) Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Additional hours for occasional evening events or school trips may be needed. Hollis Montessori is an independent, non-profit school located in southern New Hampshire, currently serving 120 students from age 3 through grade 9. We have a 10-acre green campus adjacent to many acres of conservation land with trails, ponds, and wildlife.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have expertise teaching math at the middle/high school level; enthusiasm for participating in teaching project-based subjects in humanities and occupations, including biology, history, and literature; the desire for both mental and physical work; a love for the outdoors (not afraid of spiders!); the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students; excellent communication skills; and a passion for working with adolescents.
