Description

King's Wood Montessori School is a private, non-profit Montessori School in Foxboro, MA, and serves 40 students age 2.9 - 6. The part time position begins (M-F, 8:30am-2:30pm) with the 2024-2025 school year with orientation prior to the start date. The job responsibilities include: Support the Lead Teacher, Prepare and maintain the classroom environment, Prevent interruptions when the Lead Teacher is giving lessons, Model courteous and respectful behavior, Attend staff meetings and open house events, Observe children and maintain records to assist the Lead Teacher

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferable but not required. Experience working with children is required. Desired qualities: 1. Passion for working with children and empowering them to become independent. 2. Ability to maintain an inclusive, loving, orderly, and safe environment. 3. Flexibility, sense of humor, compassionate, community oriented.
