Description

Lexington Montessori School is seeking an assistant teacher for a mixed-age Montessori classroom of 3-6 year-old children to start in the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a dual position and tied to the before and after school program. The schedule is five days a week from 10:30 to 5:30. LMS has a diverse family and teacher community, committed to the Montessori approach of mutual respect and collaboration, striving for outcomes of resourcefulness, self-reliance, divergent thinking, and belief in oneself as a contributing member of the school and of society.

Qualifications

Applicants should have experience with young children and, preferably, be experienced in Montessori teaching. Spanish language skills are a plus. All employees of Lexington Montessori School are required to verify employment eligibility and successfully complete CORI, SORI, and fingerprint-based background checks as a condition of employment.
