Inly School seeks a compassionate, engaging part-time Spanish Teacher to begin August 2026, serving students in Grades 4–8. The teacher will deliver structured, developmentally responsive instruction that builds proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while fostering cultural understanding and confidence. Responsibilities include designing standards-informed lessons, assessing student progress, preparing middle school students for secondary school placement, maintaining curriculum documentation, and collaborating with colleagues. Ideal candidates bring strong instructional practice, cultural competency, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree (in Spanish, Education, or a related field); Master’s preferred.
At least three years of teaching experience, ideally with diverse age groups and/or in a Montessori setting.
Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute to Inly’s progressive, inclusive environment.
A commitment to anti-bias education and the creation of a welcoming, inclusive classroom community.
An understanding of, or willingness to learn, Montessori philosophy and methods.
