Full-time substitute to cover a maternity leave position in a Children’s House classroom from August 24 to December 22, 2026. Responsibilities would include: Acclimating new students to the classroom at the beginning of the year Following routines and plans set in place for the class by the Lead Teacher Attending weekly Faculty meetings Regular check-ins with parents Fall Parent Teacher Conferences Winter Progress Reports

Qualifications

Must be Montessori (AMS or AMI) 3-6 certified, with at least 2-3 years of experience as a lead teacher in a Montessori classroom. Candidates should have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a commitment to thinking flexibly, and technical fluency.
