Description

Position Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Assistant Montessori teacher to: Support the lead teacher in preparing a safe, inviting, and challenging classroom environment. Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to establish class routines and lessons. Observe children and maintain records. Supports all aspects of classroom operation. Support with lunch and recess duties when applicable. Pivot to meet the needs of our students. Self-motivated to learn about the Montessori approach. Have strong classroom management skills Maintain a clean and clutter-free classroom and school environment. Attend staff meetings and mandatory school events.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (Required). A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferable but not required. 1+ Years of experience working with children (Required). No prior Montessori experience is required, but the willingness to learn is essential. Clear BRC (Background Record Check) and fingerprinting.
