Description

Reading Montessori is a joyful school serving children from 18 months through 6 years old. We have one toddler classroom and 2 multiage preschool/Kindergarten classrooms. We have a strongly collaborative and supportive team of educators. The lead teacher/directress will lead a multiage classroom. Planning, delivering lessons, record keeping, supervision of an assistant teacher, and parent communication are the main responsibilities of the position. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Montessori trained teacher to join our team. Hours are from 8 am to 3:30 pm 5days per week.

Qualifications

Qualifications: BA or BS degree Certified Montessori Training (ages 3-6) Previous experience in a Montessori Classroom, preferable 3-5 years Massachusetts EEC lead teacher certification Must be collaborative, professional, and team focused
