Description

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a qualified and collaborative full time Upper Elementary Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years teaching experience, preferably within a Montessori environment. Montessori Upper Elementary certification (ages 9–12) is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and materials, strong classroom management and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative teaching team. Strong written communication skills and a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom community are essential. The successful candidate will value collaboration and maintain strong communication with colleagues and families.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50,900 - 64,900.
