Description

Children's Own School is a private non-profit Montessori School that has been serving Winchester and the surrounding area since 1942. We have 5 spacious sun-filled classrooms, experienced and fully trained teachers, and expansive playgrounds. We are looking for an Assistant Teacher in our Primary Program (ages 3-6) to join our supportive and collaborative team in September 2026. This is a full-time, 10-month position.

Qualifications

*Montessori Early Childhood Credential (AMS/AMI/MACTE accredited) preferred. *BA/BS degree related to Early Childhood Education/Child Development preferred. *Ability to complete Background Record Check and EEC requirements. *1-3 years of experience working with preschool-age children in a Montessori setting. *Interest or familiarity in Montessori philosophy.
