Hollis Montessori School is seeking an exceptional, adaptable, compassionate, and collaborative Special Education Learning Specialist to support students ages 3-15. The ideal candidate will design student learning and behavior plans, and provide targeted Instruction with students. This position will support accommodations for executive functioning, sensory processing, and social-emotional development. They will collaborate regularly with the Lead Guide, partner with families and coordinate external speech, occupational, behavioral therapists, and educational testing.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field. Montessori Alignment: Strong understanding of, or deep respect for, Montessori principles Span of Experience: Experience working with children across multiple developmental stages, from early childhood (age 3) through early adolescence (age 15). Diverse Skillset: Demonstrated ability to support students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and executive dysfunction. Preferred Qualifications Montessori Certification: MACTE-accredited credential (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) at any level is highly preferred.
