Description

Wellan Montessori School is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our preschool and Kindergarten programs (ages 3 - 6 years). This is a full-time position covering a maternity leave, scheduled to begin in the Fall and likely to run through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. A lead Early Childhood Montessori teacher oversees all aspects of the classroom operation, including planning/implementing curriculum and communicating with families, while working with a co-teacher to ensure classroom standards are met consistently. The teacher must excel at preparing the environment, taking shared responsibility for creating and maintaining an orderly, safe, and challenging learning environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or beyond in a related field. EEC Preschool Lead Teacher certified. Montessori certification for ages 3-6 or in training. Experience working in a Montessori classroom
